How is a battery priced?
By weight and type, lead is what carries the value, so a heavy tubular inverter battery is worth considerably more than a small bike battery.
My battery is swollen and leaking. Will you take it?
Yes, but tell us when booking so we bring the right handling for it. Don't move it around yourself in the meantime.
Do you process the batteries?
No. We collect and pass them to authorised recyclers who are set up and permitted to handle lead-acid safely.
Can I trade it in against a new one?
We buy rather than sell, so we can't do an exchange, but selling the old one to us and buying the new one wherever you prefer usually works out the same or better.
