Sell Your Old Inverter Battery in Delhi
A dead tubular inverter battery is the single most valuable piece of household scrap most Delhi homes will ever have. They weigh between 25 and 60 kg, almost all of it lead, and they are worth several times what a car battery fetches.
They are also the worst thing to leave sitting in a store room. A battery past its life swells, and eventually leaks acid onto whatever it is standing on. If yours has already started, tell us when you book, we will bring the right handling rather than turning up unprepared.
Used lead-acid batteries are regulated waste. We collect them and hand them on to recyclers authorised to process them, we don't break or process batteries ourselves.
What we take

FAQs
How much does an old inverter battery fetch?
More than most people expect, because weight drives the price and tubular batteries are heavy. A large tubular unit is worth several times a car battery. We weigh in front of you at the day's rate rather than quoting a flat figure per battery.
Tubular or flat plate, does it matter?
Only through weight. Tubular batteries are heavier and so worth more. We do not pay differently per type beyond what the scale says.
It is still connected to my inverter. Can you disconnect it?
Yes, our team disconnects it. Mention it when booking. Do not leave a swollen battery connected in the meantime.
Do you take the inverter as well?
Yes, though it is priced separately as electronic scrap rather than by lead weight. Say so when booking and we will collect both together.
Which brands do you buy?
All of them. Exide, Luminous, Amaron, Okaya, Livguard, unbranded, it makes no difference to scrap value, which is set by weight and lead content.
