Sell Your Old Car Battery in Delhi
A car battery is one of the few things in a garage that is worth real money as scrap, because roughly two thirds of its weight is lead. That is why an exchange offer at a battery shop is rarely the best you can do: the discount they give you is set against the new battery's margin, not against what the old one is actually worth.
We collect car batteries from your door, weigh them in front of you at the current lead rate, and pay cash before we leave. You do not need to remove it from the vehicle yourself, and you do not need to buy anything from us.
Used lead-acid batteries are regulated waste. We collect them and hand them on to recyclers authorised to process them, we don't break or process batteries ourselves.
What we take
- Car batteries, all sizes
- Two-wheeler and scooter batteries
- Batteries still fitted in the vehicle
- Swollen, bulging or leaking units
- Batteries with broken terminals

FAQs
How much is an old car battery worth in Delhi?
It is priced by weight against the day's lead rate, not by a fixed figure per battery. A standard car battery weighs roughly 12 to 18 kg, so it is worth meaningfully more than a bike battery and rather less than a large tubular inverter battery. We tell you the rate before we weigh.
Is selling to you better than a battery shop exchange?
Usually, because an exchange discount is priced against the new battery rather than against the scrap value of the old one. Selling the old battery to us and then buying the new one wherever you like is worth comparing.
The battery is still in my car. Is that a problem?
No. Our team disconnects and removes it. Tell us when booking so we bring the tools.
My battery is swollen and leaking acid. Will you still take it?
Yes, and please say so when you book so we bring the right handling and container for it. Do not tip it, carry it in a car boot, or try to clean it up yourself in the meantime.
What happens to the battery afterwards?
Used lead-acid batteries are regulated waste. We collect them and pass them to recyclers authorised to process lead, we do not break or process batteries ourselves.
