Furniture is the category people give away for nothing, and it is almost never because the furniture is worthless. It is because selling it means photographing it, listing it, answering messages from people who never turn up, and then finding two men and a tempo on a Saturday. Set against that, a neighbour taking it for free starts to look like a good deal.

That calculation is what we exist to change. You answer a few questions, you tell us what you are hoping to get, we agree a figure before anyone visits, and we handle the dismantling, the stairs and the loading. The figure holds unless the piece turns out to be materially different from what you described, and you are paid in cash before anything leaves your flat.

What your furniture is actually worth

The single biggest factor is not age, and it is not brand. It is what the piece is made of. Solid wood, particularly teak and sheesham, can be sanded, re-polished and resold for years, so it holds value almost indefinitely. Engineered board cannot be repaired once it swells or chips, and it rarely survives being moved twice, so it is worth a fraction of the same piece in wood.

That one distinction explains most of the spread below. A teak bed from 2010 in sound order is worth more than a particle-board one bought last year, which surprises almost everyone who asks.

ItemTypical rangeWhat moves it most
Bed₹3,000 – ₹18,000Material, then size, then storage
Sofa₹2,000 – ₹14,000Seating, frame material, upholstery
Almirah / wardrobe₹2,000 – ₹9,000Steel or wood, then number of doors
Dresser₹1,200 – ₹6,000Material, then whether the mirror is intact
Computer table₹700 – ₹3,500Solid wood versus engineered board
Office chair₹600 – ₹3,500Type, then whether the gas lift holds
Indicative ranges for a piece in good, usable condition. Run the calculator for a firm figure.

Clearing a whole flat

Most of our furniture pickups are not one sofa. They are a move, a renovation, a family shifting city, or a rented flat being handed back. If that is you, quote the biggest item first to get a sense of the numbers, then tell us everything else when you book. It all goes in one visit and you are paid for the lot together.

There is no minimum and no charge for the removal, so the odd broken chair or the pile of scrap behind the almirah can come along with it. The things people most often forget to mention are the ones behind doors: the almirah in the servant room, the folded dining chairs on the balcony, the desk nobody has sat at since the office went remote.

Worth checking before you book

  • Bedrooms: beds, mattresses, almirahs, dressers, bedside tables
  • Living room: sofa set, centre table, TV unit, dining set
  • Study or office: desks, chairs, bookshelves, filing cabinets
  • Balcony and storage: folding chairs, old cupboards, anything steel

The part that usually stops people

A three-seater sofa does not come apart, does not fit through a standard doorway at the wrong angle, and weighs more than the person trying to move it. A double bed does come apart, but only if someone has the right spanner and knows which bolts hold the base. A steel almirah is fine on the flat but genuinely dangerous on a staircase.

All of that is ours. Our team arrives with tools, dismantles what needs dismantling, carries every piece down however many floors there are, and loads it. There is no stair charge, no lift charge, and no expectation that you help lift anything. You need to be there to let us in and take the cash.

What we take, and what we don't

We buy furniture that is still usable. Ordinary wear is expected and priced in: faded upholstery, scratched surfaces, a drawer that sticks, a lock with no key. None of that stops a piece selling on, and none of it stops us buying.

What we cannot do much with is furniture that has failed structurally: a frame eaten by termites, a board swollen through with damp, a sofa that has been stored outside. Those are still worth quoting, because the figure is rarely zero, but expect it to reflect what is left rather than what it cost.

Questions people ask

Do you buy used furniture in Delhi for cash?
Yes. We quote online before we visit, collect from your door free of charge anywhere in Delhi NCR, and pay cash in hand at collection, before anything is loaded.
What kind of furniture do you buy?
Beds, sofas and sofa sets, almirahs and wardrobes, dressers and dressing tables, computer and study tables, office chairs, dining sets and chests of drawers. If it is solid and usable, it is worth quoting.
How much is my used furniture worth?
It depends far more on material than on age. Solid wood and steel hold their value for years; engineered board does not. As a guide, beds and sofas are usually the most valuable pieces in a home, and chairs and small tables the least.
Do you charge for pickup or dismantling?
No. Dismantling, carrying down stairs and loading are all included, with no stair or lift charge and no minimum order.
Can I sell all my furniture at once when moving out?
Yes, and it is the most common reason people call us. Quote one item to start, tell us the rest when you book, and everything is collected in a single visit and paid for together.
Will you buy damaged furniture?
Usually. Scratches, stains, sticking drawers and broken locks all reduce the price rather than ruling a piece out. Termite damage and water-swollen board reduce it a lot more, but the figure is rarely zero.
Which areas of Delhi do you cover?
All of Delhi NCR, including Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. South Delhi, meaning Chanakyapuri, Greater Kailash, Saket, Vasant Vihar and around, is our home round, so pickups there are usually same or next day.
