Old Almirah Price List: What Your Wardrobe Is Worth in Delhi
Get your instant priceMaterial decides most of it. A heavy steel almirah holds value for decades and is worth more than a wooden wardrobe of the same age, because it survives moves that would finish the wood.
The figures below are generated from the same pricing our quote calculator uses, so they move whenever our real prices do.
Indicative prices by what is it made of and age
| What is it made of | Less than 1 year | 1–3 years | 3–5 years | 5+ years |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Steel | ₹5,600 | ₹3,400 | ₹2,800 | ₹2,200 |
| Solid wood | ₹6,200 | ₹3,700 | ₹3,100 | ₹2,500 |
| Engineered board | ₹2,500 | ₹1,500 | ₹1,300 | ₹1,000 |
Quoted at “Good” condition with no faults, for a Two door unit. Faults, cosmetic damage and a missing bill move the figure down; an original bill moves it up. A dead unit of this type bottoms out around ₹200, see the scrap page below.

FAQs
Is this the price you'll actually pay me?
It's indicative. The table assumes good condition with doors that close, so your own figure depends on material, size and the exact age.
Why is my quote lower than the table?
Usually heavy rust, deep dents, a jammed door or borer damage on a wooden unit. Each is applied on top of type and age.
Mine is very old. Is it still worth something?
On a steel almirah, often yes. Age matters far less than condition, and the older units were built heavier than the new ones.
Does a mirrored door change the price?
A little, upward, provided the mirror is intact. A cracked one costs more to remove than it is worth and counts against.
